What is Live Scan?

Live Scan is a fingerprint service that transmits electronic fingerprint images securely to the Department of Justice and FBI. Most organizations that require background checks no longer accept ink fingerprint cards.

Unlike many training facilities, we provide Live Scan services at our facility. We're a "One-Stop-Shop" for all of your training needs. Our Live Scan Services are not limited to students and is available to the public.

What to bring:

1. Your COMPLETED Live Scan form (Form BCII 8016)*

2. Photo Identification

3. Payment (cash, money order, credit card only) - NO PERSONAL CHECKS!

*Live Scan forms are provided to our students and those who are unable to print the Live Scan request form from the internet.

Appointments:

Although appointments are not required, we ask that you call ahead of time so we can process your fingerprints as quickly as possible. We also need to assure we have a licensed Live Scan operator on site.
